Update your payment method
You update your payment method from the Stripe customer portal, accessed from the purchase detail page in Grouptizer.
- Open Purchases and open the subscription you want to update.
- Click Manage payment methods in the Stripe portal block. The Stripe customer portal opens on the payment methods section.
- Add a new payment method or replace the existing one.
- Save.
The next renewal will use the new payment method.
When to update
Section titled “When to update”- Your old card expired.
- Your old card was lost or replaced.
- A renewal failed because of a payment issue (see Failed payments).
A separate payment method per store
Section titled “A separate payment method per store”Each subscription is on the store’s Stripe account, which means each one has its own customer portal and its own payment methods. Updating the card on one subscription doesn’t affect subscriptions you have with other stores — you have to update each one separately if needed.
