Product status — active, hidden and archived
A product can be in one of three statuses, set on the product detail page.
Active
Section titled “Active”The default. The product appears on your storefront (assuming the store is also Active) and accepts new purchases.
Hidden
Section titled “Hidden”Use this while you’re making changes you don’t want buyers to see yet. While hidden:
- The product doesn’t appear on your storefront.
- New purchases cannot happen.
- Existing buyers keep their subscriptions and access untouched.
Common use cases: updating the description, swapping images, reworking prices, pausing sales temporarily.
Archived
Section titled “Archived”Archive is how you discard a product. Archived products disappear from the main view of your dashboard so they don’t get in the way. There is no permanent “delete” in Grouptizer — archive is the equivalent.
- Archived products can be restored at any time, with their prices and history intact.
- While archived, the product doesn’t appear on the storefront and doesn’t accept new purchases.
- Existing subscriptions keep running and can still be cancelled or refunded.
Archive a product when you’ve stopped selling it but want to keep the past sales data.
Switching status
Section titled “Switching status”Open the product and pick the new status from the Status selector at the top. Changes are immediate.
