Switch Telegram account

If you connected the wrong Telegram account, or you switched to a new Telegram account, you can disconnect the current one and link a different one to your purchase.

Steps

Section titled “Steps”
  1. Go to Purchases and open the purchase for the channel you want to fix.
  2. Open the corresponding Telegram app.
  3. Click Switch account. The previous Telegram account loses access — the bot removes it from the channel.
  4. Click Sign in with Telegram and authorise the new account.
  5. Open the invite link with the new Telegram account. The bot approves it.

  • You changed your Telegram phone number and now have a new account.
