Store status — active, hidden and archived

Each store has one of three statuses, which you change from Edit store.

The storefront is public at its URL. Anyone with the link can see it and buy.

Use this while you’re making changes you don’t want buyers to see yet. While hidden:

  • The storefront is not reachable publicly. Buyers who try to open the URL see “store not available”.
  • New purchases cannot happen.
  • Existing buyers keep their access — Hidden only affects whether the storefront is reachable, not the subscriptions you’ve already sold.

Switch to Hidden when you’re updating the description, swapping images, or pausing sales temporarily.

Archive is how you discard a store. Archived stores disappear from the main view of your dashboard so they don’t get in the way. There is no permanent “delete” in Grouptizer — archive is the equivalent.

  • Archived stores can be restored at any time, with their products, prices, customers and history intact.
  • They don’t accept new purchases while archived.

Archive a store when you don’t plan to use it but want to keep the data on file.

Open the store, go to Edit store, and pick the new status from the Status selector. Changes are immediate.
