How Stripe works with Grouptizer
Grouptizer doesn’t process payments itself. When a buyer pays, the charge runs on your own Stripe account and the money is paid out to your bank by Stripe directly.
What Grouptizer does
Section titled “What Grouptizer does”- Builds the checkout for each price.
- Tells Stripe how much to charge.
- Reads back the result (paid, failed, refunded, disputed) and updates purchases, subscriptions and Telegram access.
- Takes a commission per sale (the Grouptizer fee) directly from the charge — you never pay it separately.
What Stripe does
Section titled “What Stripe does”- Collects card and other payment details from the buyer.
- Charges the buyer and stores their payment method (with their consent) for future renewals.
- Pays out to your bank on its own schedule (typically every few days).
- Manages the buyer’s payment portal — that’s where buyers update their card or cancel a subscription.
What this means for you
Section titled “What this means for you”- The money is yours. It never sits in a Grouptizer account.
- You can see every transaction on your Stripe dashboard, on top of what Grouptizer shows you in Earnings.
- If you stop using Grouptizer, your Stripe account and customer data stay with you.
