Change your store URL
Your store has a public URL like grouptizer.com/your-slug. The slug is editable as long as it’s available.
- Open the store and click Edit store.
- Find the URL section.
- Type the new slug. Allowed characters: letters, numbers, dots and underscores. 3 to 30 characters.
- Save.
The new URL is live immediately.
What happens to the old URL
Section titled “What happens to the old URL”The old slug stops working. Anyone who saved the old link gets a “store not available” page. If you’ve shared the old URL widely, redirect from there manually (e.g. update social bios, pinned messages, ads).
Picking a good slug
Section titled “Picking a good slug”- Short and memorable.
- Matches your brand or community name.
- Easy to type and pronounce.
You can change it again later if needed, with the same caveat about old links breaking.
