Archive or remove a Telegram integration
There are three ways to take an integration out of use, depending on how permanent you want it.
1. Unselect it from a product
Section titled “1. Unselect it from a product”If you just want to stop selling access via a specific product, open the product and uncheck the integration in Included apps. Save.
- The integration stays connected and verified.
- Other products that use the integration are unaffected.
- Existing buyers keep their access on Telegram.
This is the lightest option and what you usually want.
2. Archive the integration
Section titled “2. Archive the integration”Integrations have only two statuses: Active and Archived. To “hide” an integration, just unselect it from any products that use it (see above).
Archive is how you discard an integration you’ve stopped using. Archived integrations disappear from your dashboard’s main view but can be restored at any time.
- The bot stays in the Telegram channel.
- Existing buyers keep their access.
- New buyers can’t be added through this integration while it’s archived.
There is no permanent delete in Grouptizer — archive is the equivalent.
3. Remove the linked channel
Section titled “3. Remove the linked channel”This is the destructive option. It disconnects the Telegram channel or group from your store. The action cannot be undone.
When to use it:
- You’re shutting down the community for good.
- You’re moving to a different Telegram channel and want to start fresh.
- You connected the wrong channel by mistake.
- Open the integration in Apps.
- Scroll to the bottom and find Remove integration in the danger zone.
- Type the confirmation phrase exactly as shown.
- Click Remove. The integration is no longer linked to the channel or group.
What happens after removing
Section titled “What happens after removing”- The integration is no longer linked to the Telegram channel or group.
- Buyers are not kicked from the channel or group (they stay there; you’d have to remove them yourself from Telegram if you want).
- In the buyer’s dashboard, when they try to access this app from their purchase, they see an error saying the group or channel is no longer available and asking them to contact the creator.
- Past purchases, transactions and customer records remain intact.
- Active subscriptions tied to this integration are not cancelled automatically. You may want to cancel them yourself from each customer’s detail screen so buyers stop being charged — see Cancel a purchase.
